Refunds and Cancellation
TradieDocket subscriptions are managed securely through Stripe. This page explains trials, renewals, cancellation timing and how refund requests are assessed.

Free trials
The trial length and first billing date are shown before you confirm a Stripe checkout. A payment method may be required. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, Stripe will automatically charge the subscription price shown at checkout.
Recurring subscriptions
Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. The workspace owner can view the current plan, renewal date and scheduled changes from the Membership section in TradieDocket.
How to cancel
- Sign in to TradieDocket as the workspace owner.
- Open Settings and select Membership.
- Open the Stripe billing portal.
- Choose the cancellation option and confirm the effective date shown by Stripe.
Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. You can continue using the paid service until that date. Cancelling during a trial before the first billing date prevents the first subscription charge.
Refunds
We do not generally provide refunds or credits for change of mind, accidental non-use, partially used billing periods or failure to cancel before renewal.
We will assess refund requests where there has been a billing error, duplicate charge, unauthorised payment, material service failure, or where a refund or other remedy is required under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Requesting billing help
Email support@tradiedocket.comwith the subject "Billing help". Include the workspace email, charge date and amount. Do not email your complete card number, password or security code.
Refunds approved by TradieDocket are returned through Stripe to the original payment method. Bank processing times are outside our control.
Account data after cancellation
Cancelling billing does not automatically delete your account or workspace records. To request an export or deletion, follow the process on our Support page.
