Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to the TradieDocket website and web application. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

Last updated: 10 June 2026

1. Service operator

TradieDocket is operated under the TradieDocket brand in Australia. References to "TradieDocket", "we", "us" and "our" mean the business operating the service. Contact: support@tradiedocket.com.

2. The service

TradieDocket provides tools for recording customers, jobs, work logs, expenses, quotes, invoices and related business administration. Features may change as the service develops.

TradieDocket is an administrative tool. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, employment or financial advice. You remain responsible for checking your records, tax treatment, invoice content, payment terms and regulatory obligations.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old or otherwise legally able to enter a binding agreement. You must provide accurate account and billing information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and workspace, including activity by users you invite.

Tell us promptly at support@tradiedocket.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

4. Subscriptions, trials and payment

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Prices, billing intervals, applicable taxes, trial length and the date of the first charge are displayed on the website, in TradieDocket or during Stripe checkout.

If a trial requires a payment method, your subscription will automatically become paid at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial ends. By starting a subscription, you authorise Stripe to charge the selected recurring fee when due.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected monthly or yearly billing period until cancelled. Price changes will be communicated before they apply to a future billing period.

5. Cancellation and plan changes

Workspace owners can manage or cancel subscriptions through the Stripe billing portal linked from TradieDocket. Unless Stripe checkout or the billing portal states otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period and access continues until that date.

Plan changes take effect at the time shown in the app or Stripe billing portal. Additional charges, credits or renewal changes will be displayed before confirmation where applicable. See our Refunds and Cancellation Policy for further details.

6. Refunds and Australian Consumer Law

Subscription fees are generally not refundable for change of mind or unused time after a billing period has started. This does not exclude any refund, remedy or consumer guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Your data

You retain ownership of information you enter into TradieDocket. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, back up and transmit that information as necessary to provide, secure and support the service.

You are responsible for having authority to enter personal information about customers, contacts, workers and other people. Your use of personal information must comply with applicable law. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use TradieDocket for unlawful, fraudulent or misleading activity;
  • upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt or bypass security controls;
  • access another user's account or workspace without permission;
  • reverse engineer or copy the service except where the law permits it;
  • use the service to infringe another person's rights; or
  • resell access unless we have agreed to it in writing.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service, but uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed. We may perform maintenance, change features or suspend parts of the service where reasonably necessary for security, legal or operational reasons.

10. Third-party services

TradieDocket relies on providers including Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, PostHog and email, mapping or address-processing services. Their services may be governed by separate terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

11. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address overdue payment, security risk, unlawful conduct or a material breach of these Terms. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

You may stop using TradieDocket at any time. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically delete workspace data. Data deletion can be requested through our Support page.

12. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, TradieDocket is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost opportunity or loss resulting from information entered incorrectly by a user.

Where the law permits liability to be limited for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited, at our option, to supplying the affected service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The parties submit to the courts of New South Wales and applicable Commonwealth courts.

14. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as TradieDocket changes. Material changes will be communicated reasonably before they take effect. Questions can be sent to support@tradiedocket.com.
